DIAMOND MIDDLE SCHOOL

                WELCOME BACK, WILDCATS!!!

 

                Student schedules and lockers will be available the week of August 10-14. The office will be open 8:00-6:00 pm as students and parents may drop off their                          classroom materials in their locker. Please call the office if you have any questions.

                August 10th: 8th grade students

                August 11th: 7th grade students

                August 12th: 6th grade students

                August 13th: New students

 

                Any student interested in participating in STUCO, please call the Middle School office and we will add your name to the list.  If you have any questions, please                 contact the STUCO sponsor Mrs. Thomas

 

                Any Middle school student wanting to participate as a cheerleader, there will be a sign up sheet located in the office.  Please contact the Middle School and we                 will add your name to the list.  You may contact the cheer sponsor Mrs. Welch by email- cwelch@diamondwildcats.org

                

                 August 9th: There will be a meeting at Diamond High School for all parents and students interested in participating in athletics.  The meeting is at 6:00 PM in                 the high school commons area.  Parents and students are encouraged to attend, please contact Mr. Mettlach if you have any questions

              Yearbooks are available. The cost is $20.00 and may purchase a yearbook in the Middle School office.

               Listed below is a school supply list for Diamond Middle School.  We understand some of these items may be challenging to find as this is a suggested list for                our students. Please contact the Middle School office if you have any questions.

 

6th Grade List:

                School pictures will be taken September 16th & Picture retake day will be November 4th.

                                 

             Students may turn in lunch money to the Middle School Office.

 

             If a student is absent from school, the automated system calls parents to verify the absence.  Please call the middle school prior to 9:00             am to report a student absent.

 

            All 7th and 8th grade students participating in sports for the 2020-2021 school year MUST have a physical and proof of insurance             before they can take part in ANY sport, including practices.  A MSHSAA form as well as a drug form must also be completed and signed by             ALL parents/guardians before students can participate in any school sponsored sport.  

 

           The Lumen Parent Portal is  available for parent use.  Please contact the Middle School office at 325-5336   extension 2001 if you have            questions regarding the parent portal.  The parent portal allows parents to monitor grades, lunch account balances, tardiness, absences,            etc.
