DIAMOND MIDDLE SCHOOL

 MARCH ~ 2020

 

             

             

               Spring sports pictures for 7th & 8th grade will be taken Wednesday, April 15th.

 

             Battlecat Wrestling Camp - June 20th - 8:00-12:00 pm for all boys/girls entering grades 1st-8th.  Cost is $30.00 & all campers will receive a t-shirt.

 

            Diamond Wildcat Baseball Camp - March 28th - 8:00-12:00 pm.  Campers will receive instruction from the HS coaches and team members.  Open to all boys entering grades 1st-8th.  The cost is $20.00 and includes a t-shirt.  

 

              Daddy Daughter Dance - Thursday, March 19th from 6:30-8:30 pm in the High School Commons Area.  The cost is $10 per family.  A photographer will be there to take pictures - $5.00.  Free refreshments and dancing!

 

             School will not be in session March 2nd -Teacher In Service and March 13-16 - Spring break.

 

            Youth Summer Baseball & Softball Sign ups will be held Tuesday, March 3rd from 6-8 in the MS commons area.  Late sign ups will be Thursday, March 19th from 6-8 in the elementary cafeteria.

 

             4th quarter begins Tuesday, March 17th.

 

             Students will no longer be able to charge ala carte items at lunch.  Cash only for ala carte items.

                     

            Students may turn in lunch money to the Middle School Office.

 

            Art Club meets every Tuesday after school from 3:30-5:00 pm in the elementary art room.

 

            If a student is absent from school, the automated system calls parents to verify the absence.  Please call the middle school prior to 9:00 a.m. to report a student absent and to request homework assignments.

 

            All 7th and 8th grade students participating in sports for the 2019-2020 school year MUST have a physical and proof of insurance before they can take part in ANY sport, including practices.  A MSHSAA form as well as a drug form must also be completed and signed by ALL parents/guardians before students can participate in any school sponsored sport.  

 

           The Lumen Parent Portal is  available for parent use.  Please contact the Middle School office at 325-5336   extension 2001 if you have questions regarding the parent portal.  The parent portal allows parents to monitor grades, lunch account balances, tardiness, absences, etc.
