The Mission of Diamond High School
Students & Parents/Guardians:
Diamond High School would like to welcome you to the 2019-2020 school year. Working as a team, we will make this school year a success!
At DHS, programs are in place to assist students in their progress as part of a well-rounded educational experience which promotes cooperation, respect, accountability, and development of interpersonal skills. Keeping this in mind, DHS ensures students have a good understanding of what is expected, both academically and behaviorally. Since students and staff are held to rigorous standards, DHS relies on developing character, discipline, and work ethic in preparing students for success both in the classrooms and beyond as 21st century problem-solvers.
Diamond High School offers various activities for students in academics, athletics, and various extra and co-curricular groups. To participate in these activities, students are expected to meet certain criteria with both grades and citizenship. DHS also participates in the A+ program in providing opportunities for students to earn tuition to junior colleges of vocational training. Please be sure to read through the A+ requirements.
All stakeholders are encouraged to act as partners in supporting the success of Diamond High School students. In working together, our students will succeed.
