Hello!
I am very excited to join the Diamond Wildcat team this year! I have lived in the area my entire life and think Diamond is a great place to be. I believe I have the best job there is to have; working at a wonderful school with such terrific teachers and exceptional students. My husband, Lance, and I live on a farm in between Seneca and Neosho. Lance is also a principal. He is the High School Principal at Wheaton. I have two children who are both in college. Larissa is 19 and Chase is 18. Lance also has an 8 year old daughter, Morgan.
I enjoy what I do and have loved meeting all the new people. I went to school at Seneca and my parents still live on a farm there. My mother teaches at Neosho and my father is retired. I have one brother, Jason, who has his Doctorate in Pharmacy and lives in New York.
Family is very important to me and I know it is to you. That is why I am here. The best educational team is a team where the teachers and school, parents, and students all work together. Should you have any problems at school, I want you to contact us! I value the opportunity we have in educating your children and am honored to do this. Parents, I want you to know that I understand the different experiences you encounter. I am excited to be able to work together to find solutions!
I am looking forward to meeting each and everyone of you.
It is going to be a great year at Diamond Elementary
Yours in Education,
Melissa Massey
