The Diamond lady wildcat basketball team fell hard to power house Monett 41-27 on January 5th. The ladies are trying to keep their heads up and just look to the next game, looking to improve.

Stefani Thomas led the night for the ladies on the board with 9 points, and Hanna Million was not far behind with six points. Heather Wilson and Mychael Strausbaugh also added four points to the scoreboard.

The ladies next game will be against the East Newton Patriots at East Newton. Megan and Mychael said, "We need to push the ball, take advantage of our size, execute our offense, and ultimately work together as a team."
