Lady Cats Take Out The Indians

On Thursday, February 2nd, the Diamond Lady Cats took on Big 8 competitor the Seneca Indians. Seneca is always giving Diamond a run for their money and did this again on Thursday. The ladies battled through until the end and pulled out a win. They beat the Indians 44-40 to end the night.
Diamond had a ton of scorers for the night, but leading scorer was sophomore Hanna Million. Hanna led the team with 11 points for the win over the Indians. Megan Wilson dominated as usual, ending her night with nine points. Cady Littlefield is not the biggest girl on the court, but she uses her height to her advantage putting eight points on the board. Heather Wilson and Stefani Thomas also put much needed points on the board. Heather ended her night with seven points and Stefani added another five points.
The Lady Cats next game will be Tuesday, February 7th at Diamond. They will take on the Golden City Eagles. Game time starts at 6:00 p.m.
