Federal Student Aid Programs (FAFSA)

It's Frenzy time!

by Scotty Corn

January 16, 2012

On February 12, Missouri Southern will be holding the FAFSA Frenzy.

The FAFSA:

"Determines 'Expected Family Contribution' (EFC). After filing the FAFSA you will receive a SAR (Student AID Report) which identifies your EFC."  -Mr. Ruffing's Financial Aid Resources handbook.

Attending the Frenzy will give you a chance to win a scholarship.  Some programs that award scholarships are the Pell Grant, the TEACH Grant, and the Direct Loan.  The winner must be enrolled in a Missouri institution for the upcoming fall semester.

The Frenzy will be located at Missouri Southern's Public Safety Center, Room 149.

The FAFSA offers you a good opportunity for a great future!  Take the time to come out.
