Moving Forward

The Wildcat Nation was disappointed this last Friday the 27th with a loss to the Lockwood Tigers. The team had high expectations coming into the game with a very strong performance the previous week in the Jamboree.
The Cats ended up losing the game 49-14. The Tigers were a strong passing team, and with two young cornerbacks in a sophomore and freshman, the Wildcats had a difficult time covering the pass. The offense with a distinguished back in All-Conference Honorable Mention Jarren (Pepper) Reinhart moved the ball well, averaging seven yards a play. However, according to Coach Davied, the Veer Offense that the Cats run is not a "High Powered" or "High Scoring Offense". It is more about ball control and controlling the clock. With a young defense and a Veer Offense The Wildcats fell to the Tigers.
The next game is Friday, September 3rd at home against The Miller Cardinals, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
See you there!
