Embrace the Changes!

It's Wildcat Time!

by Kourtney Moreland

September 02, 2010

Does a new year come with good or bad changes? This year's new bell schedule and changes to Wildcat time have left the students with mixed emotions, especially regarding Wildcat Time.

Freshmen Alyssa Dieckoff says, " I like having it at the end of the day because it gives you time to wind down, and I can get my homework done."

Sophomore, Alex Guebara agrees but does not like being graded for it!

Junior, Jennifer Dunlap does not like having it at the end of the day. She would prefer it in the morning so she could finish up homework from the day before.

As for Senior, Braxton Isley, he disagrees with everyone. He would prefer to just not have Wildcat Time.

Each student will soon realize the benefits of Wildcat Time. That is if they take advantage of the time they are given. Now that it is a pass or fail grade, it could possibly help some people to get enough credits to graduate. If you fail it, it will not go against you; you will just not get the credit.

Wildcat Time at the end of the day seems to have a positive effect on students overall, especially the quarter of credit per year of high school.
