DIAMOND HIGH SCHOOL DAILY BULLETIN

 

FRIDAY,  FEBRUARY 19,  2010 

PUPIL ATTENDANCE DAY: 109 + 66

 

Today prom committee will meet during WT.

 

Students who did not receive a mid quarter report  need to check with your Wildcat time teacher.  If they do not have it check at the office.

 

Auditions for the spring children’s play, Alice in Wonderland – a participation play for children – will be Tuesday and Wednesday, March 2nd and 3rd on the stage in the commons area at 3:30 each night.  The cast will consist of Alice, Sarah, Rabbit, Mad Hatter, Caterpillar, DoDo Bird, and the Queen.  Any questions see Ms. Gollhofer.

 

ACT science practice Monday after school at 3:30 only.

 

Next week is FFA week.  Monday is rubber boots day; Tues. – Boots & shorts; Weds. – FFA shirt day; Thurs. – hat & suspender day; Friday - blue & gold day.

 

The American Legion is now accepting applications for Girls State.  This program runs from June 20 through June 26.  The week long experience focuses on the qualities of leadership and citizenship.  Students must be completing their junior year to be eligible.  Applications are available from Mrs. Jones or the Guidance Office.  Deadline is Feb. 26.

 

NHS is hosting a newspaper drive to collect papers for the Joplin Humane Society.  In addition to papers donations of bleach, blankets or pet toys are being accepted as well.  Drop off in Ms. G’s room.  The drive will end Feb. 26.  All items will be taken to the humane society.
