Induction for National Honor Society was held on Wednesday, January 20th.
President Katie Long began with a speech about the history behind this prestigious society.
Then the eleven current members each received envelopes with the names of the twenty-one new inductees. These new members each wore a black robe and recited a pledge which was led by our President.
Next, Senior members Veronica Buening, Sam Enayati, Brett Dieckhoff, and Katie Long spoke about the traits of NHS. These qualities are Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character.
After the new inductees received their yellow roses (the flower of NHS) and pictures were taken, they enjoyed cake and lemonade with their parents and friends.
