Happy New Year!!! 3rd quarter begins Monday, January 2nd. Grade cards will be sent home with students Friday, January 6th.
Please note that school WILL be in session Monday, January 16th.
Our next early release day will be Friday, February 3rd. Classes will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. for Teacher-In-Service.
When students are absent from school, documentation of absence is to be presented when the student returns to school. Please be aware of the excused/un-excused attendance policy guidelines of the student handbook.
If a student is absent from school, the automated system now calls parents to verify the absence. Please call the middle school prior to 9:00 a.m. to report a student absent or to request homework assignments.
Please note : The school day begins at 8:10 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m. Students should not arrive at school prior to 7:45 a.m.
All 7th and 8th grade students participating in sports for the 2011-2012 school year MUST have a physical and proof of insurance before they can take part in ANY sport, including practices. A MSHSAA form as well as a drug form must also be completed and signed by ALL parents/guardians before students can participate in any sport.
The Lumen Parent Portal is available for parent use. Please contact the Middle School office if you have questions regarding the parent portal. The parent portal allows parents to monitor grades, lunch account balances, tardy's, absences, etc.
The automated phone system is used by Diamond Schools to keep parents informed of school cancellations, activities, etc. If you are not receiving a phone message, please stop by the office and fill out a form to update our records.
