Thursday, February 25, the girls' basketball team took part in their last home game for the 2010 season.
Seniors Audra Shelton and Breanna Carneal finished up their last home basketball game as well (along with manager Sarah Cambell); but it wasn't just for the season, it was forever.
They both played hurt, Audra, recovering from a broken nose, and also a badly bruised hand; and Breanna with what was thought to be a concussion. That didn't stop them...
Lockwood was a brave opponent... all the way through the fourth Diamond took the lead. They played hard, and rightfully took their last home win with more than 15 point lead.
Their next game will be one of their first in district play. This will be in Mt. Vernon Monday March, 1 at 9:00 p.m.
