Parents as Teachers is on the move.....

There has been a lot of changes this summer for Parents as Teachers. In June the equipment rolled in and in a few short hours the walls of the building came down. The first to go was the bathroom and classroom. They had to call in the extra equipment to take the playroom down, they didn't want it to hit Central Office next door. So sadly we have to say goodbye to our little yellow house, the large crayon windows, the Sesame Street Bathroom, but we still have all the great memories from the last 7 years. Some might remember the ugly brown paneling, the Bob the Builder night, Winter Wonderlands, and all the letters and numbers we have colored, cut and learned. The wonderful memories of the little ones learning to crawl and walk on our slippery floor and the fantastic food at all our parties.
We are ready to make new memories in our new location. Thanks to the help of the maintenance crews and a few other workers the new room has been finished. I started moving in on August 10th, there was a lot of dust and grime at first, then our foam floor and new carpet went down and the cabinet came in. We have had to downside the toys quiet a bit and the square footage is smaller, but we have the gym to use to let off some steam and energy.
If you would like to come check out the new room, stop by any time.
I am looking forward to a great year. If you have a child under the age of 5 or you are expecting, come check out all the fun things Parents as Teachers has to offer you.
Parents as Teacher is a parent education support system that works.
