The Wildcats played their opening game against Greenfield on Friday night. While there wasn't a victory on the scoreboard, the Wildcats proved that their hard work is paying off; and they're going to be a force to reckon with this season.
"It was a good learning experience for the team," says Kenny Newman, Wildcats linebacker and guard. There were no serious injuries during the game, so the Wildcats are ready to move on.
The fans have proven to be extremely supportive this season as they were on their feet shouting encouraging praises throughout the entire game. "Cheering seems to raise the morale of the team and I thoroughly enjoyed it," Senior Lindsey Gilbert stated.
The Diamond band, who always impress, delivered an extremely entertaining half time show full of formation changes and even a swing dancing section.
Everyone was glad to be there supporting their team and expectations are still high for the season. The Wildcats show heart and promise. Please continue to support and follow them throughout the season.
