Monkey'in around in P.A.T.

Wow, time has just flown this summer. I have been busy this summer painting and moving my office into the old storage room and making the office into a classroom. The room is all ready now for out first play group this year. We will start play groups again August 20 at 9:30. The first two weeks we will be socializing and playing. The first play group in September we will begin working in the classroom learning our numbers. This year we will be using the song "The Ants go Marching" to learn our numbers. The elementary has adopted a new program for learning letters and learning to read. We will also begin using the same program so your child will be a custom to it before starting school and my goal is for them to know all the letter sounds before the year is over.
The playroom has been reorganized this year. The older kids area is now cushioned just like the baby area along with a few new dress up items for the boys. We have also added the ball pit and a reading and game area. I can't wait to see you in the next couple of weeks.
Don't forget play groups are every Wednesday from 9:30 to 11:00 unless we have a field trip, which I am working on right now.
