NCA CAMP 2008

The 2008-09 DHS cheer squad attended a National Cheerleaders Association camp in Springfield, Missouri on July 11-14, 2008. This years members are:
Seniors: Hannah Carr (captain), Emily Edge (co-captain), Hannah Hoyer, and Samantha Olson
Juniors: Veronica Buening, Madison Fortner
Soph.: Ashley George, Kelsi Martin, Sara Schmitt, Miranda Thomas, and Dylan Youngblood
Fresh: Madison Baker, and Heather Simpson
The following members were nominated for the All American Cheer Squad:
Hannah Carr, Samantha Olson, and Madison Fortner - all nominated for jumps
Dylan Youngblood - nominated for tumbling
The squad also received 3 excellent awards, and 3 superior awards for their performance in the chants & cheers divisions. In addition to these awards they received the "Most Spirited Team" award and were given a megaphone for our trophy case.
They have been invited to compete in any of the National Competitions that the NCA puts on in 2008-09.
We hope to see you at the games cheering on our WILDCATS and seeing what this squad can do.
