Guess what, Candy House Chocolate factory doesn't have any Ummpa Loompa's, but boy do they have the candy. We were able to tour the kitchen and see where they make the caramels, and the creams for the candies. Next we watched as they put turtles on the machine that dunked them in chocolate.
Other ladies were hand dipping marshmallows, toffee and pecans in chocolate. What fun, playing in chocolate all day long. We then watched as they hand packed boxes of chocolate with all different kinds of chocolate candies. Before we left we saw them make chocolate suckers for Precious Moments, how cool. After we toured the factory we went shopping in the candy store. They had all sorts of chocolates, taffy and anything you could dip in chocolate. We had a great time and got to wear really cool hats, too. Before we left they were nice enough to give all of us a chocolate covered OREO... Yum, Yum.....
