March 06, 2008
Seventh and eighth grade students in Ms. Asbell's Social Studies class have been working hard since the fall to complete History Day projects for the Regional competition at MSSU on Friday, March 7. Finalists in the website category were announced yesterday, and two groups from Diamond are among the five finalists. Congratulations to Spencer Lowden, Micah Alford, and Jeremy Robbins whose project "Conflict and Compromise: The World Near Nuclear War" is one of the two finalists from Diamond. Congratulations also to Kyleigh Copley, Kaeden Bennett, Alex Guebara, and Joe Adkins whose project "Conflict and Compromise: Japanese Incarceration During World War II" is the other Diamond finalist. Please wish these students luck in their interviews on Friday as they vie for a place in the State competition.
