After School Tutoring Now Available

by Danny DeWitt

September 07, 2007

The Middle School staff here at Diamond R-IV schools is committed to providing the best possible education for each of our students. We are committed to helping students understand, learn, and achieve to the best of their ability. As a testament to our commitment, we have decided to develop an after school tutoring program to help students succeed in the classroom. After school tutoring will begin on September 4th, 2007 and last throughout the school year.

This tutoring program will be to benefit students who are struggling to turn in daily assignments. If a student fails to turn in 2 assignments to any one class, they will be assigned to after school tutoring. The student will then be required to notify their parent(s) in order to make transportation arrangements. Tutoring will begin at 3:20 p.m. and will end at 4:20 p.m. Tutoring will also be available to all students who are struggling with their classroom work.

I ask for all parents to be as supportive as possible regarding this program. I believe that it will be a very effective tool in helping our kids succeed. If you have any questions or need to schedule your child for tutoring please call the middle school office at (417) 325-5336. Thank you.
