American Education Week Activities -- November 14 - 18

In honor of American Education Week, these activities for students will be going on to promote fun and awareness of education.
Theme Days for American Education Week --
1. Monday -- Dress as your favorite storybook character to celebrate reading.
2. Tuesday -- Future Career Day - dress as you would in your future career.
3. Wednesday -- "We're all NERDS for Education." - dress as a nerd.
4. Thursday -- "We're TOETALLY Committed to Education." - wear your favorite toe socks or crazy pair of socks.
5. Friday -- Black and Gold Day.
ALL COSTUMES MUST MEET SCHOOL DRESS CODE REQUIREMENTS!
Contests --
1. Guess the Staff Contest
2. Guess the Teacher by Their Pets
3. Battle of the Classes -- Friday, 7th hr.
Rules for "Guess the Staff Contest"
- A different staff member is chosen each day.
- A clue about the staff member will be read at the beginning of each hour.
- If you think you know the answer, come between hours to tell Mrs. Kirk. You may not come during class hours. If you do interrupt class, you will be disqualified from the contest for that day. IF YOU COME MORE THAN ONCE DURING THE CONTEST, YOU ARE THEN DISQUALIFIED FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK!
- The first student or first teacher to get the correct answer wins a giant candy bar!
